OxEd and Assessment is a University of Oxford spinout company that was launched to take the research of Professor Charles Hulme's research group on language assessment and intervention through to practical application in schools. Oral language is the springboard to education but many children entering school have language difficulties. Our early language programme provides early identification, intervention and enrichment for all children with a positive, proven impact in improving early language skills. A series of randomised controlled trials and independent evaluations of our programme have demonstrated its effectiveness in improving educational outcomes.
