XiLearn Objectives: - Improve training through e-learning in niche markets (emerging sectors such as digital technologies or sectors specific to the culture and needs of Southeast Asia), - Promote local know-how, - Build communities of experts in the various niche markets. The first training courses in Lao have been running on the LMS (Learning Management System) platform we developed since October 2023, and 200 students have signed up to take courses in web design, e-commerce, social media, etc. with numerous certification quizzes with games and case studies, a good start for a program capable of training thousands of learners. However, the economic recession in Laos has had a significant impact on the job market, directly affecting many young graduates who find themselves without viable employment opportunities in Laos. Young people are re-evaluating their education and career paths, with many choosing to work abroad in unskilled sectors rather than pursue higher education;
